Please join the East Bay District in support of St. Alban’s Lodge #6 as they host a Paint Night Fundraiser to continue work on their building.  If you haven’t yet had a chance to visit the brothers of St. Alban’s, the work they have done thus far is fantastic and some of the programs they are supporting in the town are making a excellent impression.  See the poster below for more information.

Help Wanted!

March 27th, 2019 Posted by Uncategorized 0 thoughts on “Help Wanted!”

Brothers and friends,

As the temperatures begin their steady increase, hopefully, we are looking for a helping hand with some of the tasks that we have put off for the winter.  Namely we are looking for assistance with the following:

  1. Shed Painting
  2. Spring Cleaning
  3. Lawn Maintenance

If you would like to help out please let us know and we will let you know when we are set to get to work.  This is a great opportunity to come together outside of a meeting night and get to know your brothers.  St. Paul’s Lodge is your lodge, help keep it clean!

What Came You Here To Do

March 14th, 2019 Posted by Uncategorized 0 thoughts on “What Came You Here To Do”

At the beginning of his term of office, the Master, set up a program titled “What came you here to do”.  It is an interesting question that we, as masons, often reflect on.  It is a way to gauge how we feel about ourselves and the craft.  Often we tell others, you get out of masonry what you put in.  But what are we to put in? Are we “putting enough in”? What if I have nothing left to put in?  All valid questions.  So, the door is open brothers.  Ask yourself this very question and let us know.  You can share at lodge, at collation, or even in our monthly notice.  We want to hear from you!

A BBQ Success

July 2nd, 2018 Posted by Uncategorized 0 thoughts on “A BBQ Success”

On June 30th, under a cloudless sky and surrounded by a warm breeze from the Narragansett Bay, the brothers, family and friends gathered at Carr Point off of Burma Rd. to share in a day of brotherhood and friendship.

It was an excellent day as temperatures reached around 90 degrees with the smell of sunscreen and charcoal in the air.  Carr Point provided an excellent location as there were plenty of picnic tables and even a covering to seek some shade.  All in all, approximately 25 people attended.  This included the significant others and children of our brothers and we went through 20 burgers and 32 hot dogs!  Games and activities were plentiful.

Thank you to everyone who participated and a special thank you to the brothers who donated time, supplies, or in 2 cases, the ability to host at this location!

A Fraternal Welcome to our newest Entered Apprentices

March 7th, 2018 Posted by Uncategorized 0 thoughts on “A Fraternal Welcome to our newest Entered Apprentices”

St. Paul’s #14 is pleased to welcome 3 new brothers into our gentle craft.  The officers of the lodge performed the degree admirably and hopefully will leave a lasting impression on our brethren.  In addition to the degree the lodge was able to welcome our newest Master Mason as he signed the by-laws of the lodge and became an official member.  Following a standing ovation Bro. Bernier was given a pin and trowel and was reminded to continue to spread the cement of brotherly love and affection and was thanked for his work on the new website and for his assistance with the EA degree.

It was an enjoyable night and we hope to see you soon!

Newly Elected Master & Officers

January 25th, 2018 Posted by Uncategorized 0 thoughts on “Newly Elected Master & Officers”

On January 25, 2018 St. Paul’s Lodge #14 held its annual election of officers.  The installation of those officers took place with brothers both within and without the district and friends and family in attendance.  RW Robert Palazzo, District Deputy Grand Master of the East Bay and his Grand Master of Ceremonies, W Brad Ripley installed all officers with W Andrew Giovannini, Assistant Grand Lecturer providing an excellent prologue.

After the installation, Worshipful Master Joshua P. Manfredo gave an opening address and stressed the importance of remembering that the night was for the lodge and expressed optimism and hope for the ensuing year.

The lodge looks forward to what is in store and we hope as many brethren as possible can make it out and join us as we embark upon an exciting year.
